Biography

Verna Mae Wright, daughter of Edward and Pearl Carr Haught, was co-owner of the L. G. Wright Glass Company, located in New Martinsville, West Virginia. Verna Mae, along with her husband Lawrence G. Wright, established the company in 1938. After her husband died in 1969, Verna Mae Wright ran the company herself until her death in 1990.
