Biography

Dudley Williams was a merchant or storekeeper who moved to Franklin (now Kent), Ohio, in 1820. He provided goods and services to local people and businesses, including the Mantua Glassworks. He maintained an account ledger from 1802-1830 that included family history, holidays, and the buying and selling of goods.
