Biography

Tiffany and Company is a renowned jeweler and luxury goods retailer based in New York City. The company was founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany. His son, Louis Comfort Tiffany, served as the company’s first design director. Tiffany Studios, makers of the famous Tiffany glass, was a separate enterprise, although some glass products were available for purchase through Tiffany and Company.
